I recently stayed at Hermes in Agios Nikolaos for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and a beautiful sandy beach. The pool on the 4th floor was always clean...

The hotel really did exactly as it advertised and actually was very nice and better than many more expensive hotels that exist in the resort. One point to mention was the quality of the food...

I did not like the all inclusive system. It is not really all incl!! You can go for lunch or dinner only once, no tea or coffee. The staff was rude... And the hotel is very old (like back to 1990!), the air condition did not cooled the room.

Fantastic location on the sea front, close to the city center and port. Lovely big room with sea view and mountain backdrop. Good choice of quality food for non-meat eaters. Efficient and helpful staff. Clean pool with sea water and great beach access.
Nothing to complain about at all.

The quality of food at the Dining Room was very good and the staff were polite and helpful!
Would be nice to also have BBC World Service on TV!

Good food in restaraunt, attentive staff. Good room with great sea view. Not too noisy.
Despite signs saying sun beds on pool terrace could not be reserved we had to do so early on in the day or all were taken by guests towels - many of whom seemed to leave their beds unoccupaied most of the day. No need to have music around the pool.

Good food variety and friendly staff
The hotel offered a great variety of food, both for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The location was also convenient, with many restaurants and shops nearby.
The rooms were quite dated and could use some updating. the entertainment in the evenings was quite boring and did not add much to the overall experience.

The staff were very helpful and kind, especially towads my child. Service and assistance was professional and efficient. The location, though busy, was very convenient as it was within walking distance to shops, the beach and cafes and restaurants. The breakfast and dinner were plentiful and of good quality, incorporating both cretan and international components in their menu. The bathroom with its shower was wonderful!
The rooms smelt a little musty and manouvering luggage on the fourth floor with steps was difficult.

The hotel iberostar hermes was in a good location the food was of a very good quality. The salt pool was very good.
Although the food was of a high quality there was not a lot of choice, perhaps as a result of the hotel not being completely full.
